I am about to kill Steve Jobs.  While I am an avid mac user, I can not stand the fact that every time I upgrade my computer 8 other things go wrong.  I was on the phone with tech support after trying to install their upgrade.  Which, by the way crashed my computer and then sent it into an endless loop or restarts.  Once we finally got past the endless restarts, we had to reinstall the previous system software.  So the computer was then usable.   I tried to download the current update off the Apple website and my airport card kept disconnecting.  Every time I would try and do something online, I would eventually have to stop, and reconnect to the router.  The router and our internet connect was not the problem.  Believe me, I checked that.  So this morning at work I had to bring in a cd, download the current upgrade and then install it from the cd.  That process went fine, until I tried to open iTunes.  Now it’s saying “The file iTunes Library can not be read because it was created by a newer version of iTunes.”  The kicker is that I moved the iTunes library before I even attempted to upgrade the system software because I needed to clear that space so that I could do the upgrade.  Now I’m in the process of downloading the latest iTunes.  Here’s hoping that fixes the problem.  If not, when I’m in SF, I’ll find out where in the bay area Steve Jobs lives and I’ll launch all my dead Apple products thru his front window.
